Jeri Cartwright founded Cartwright Communications in 1996, working for a number of well-known national, regional and local clients in the areas of finance, law, commercial real estate, telecommunications, construction, and business-to-business.
Specializing in executive counsel, media relations and crisis communications, she was selected as one of 30 Women to Watch by Utah Business magazine in 2005 and as one of 101 women bloggers to watch in 2009 by We Magazine. Additionally, Cartwright Communications received a 2002 "Giant Step" Small Business Award from the Salt Lake Chamber.
Working extensively with reporters and the public during the demolition, reconstruction and grand opening of the Salt Palace Convention Center, Jeri also helped host the NBA All-Star Game and the U.S. Olympic Committee's Nagano Olympics media briefing event. Just one day prior to the 2002 Winter Olympics, she helped Reebok stage its annual Human Rights Awards in Salt Lake City.
Jeri’s Prior experience includes ten years in television and radio news as a reporter, producer and anchor in Salt Lake City, Utah and Tucson, Arizona. Additional background: Communications Director for the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau and Salt Lake County Commission.
Her team of former journalists works hard to create and sustain positive, credible relationships with producers of news content, spanning a broad menu of traditional, citizen and social media.
